Vicente Ezkerra hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Modesto Celino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Los Andes's supporters rose to their feet, but Modesto Celino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blas Otsoko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ivan Mogel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Los Andes's goal looked a bit too open when Renzo Rodrigo came free, but Geronimo Tirso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Abajas in the 22nd minute of play forced Las 3R Club De Fútbol's goalkeeper Blas Otsoko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Los Andes's Fernan Nesor got a free kick in the 25th minute. Saverio Ourente kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Las 3R Club De Fútbol's zone, Danilo Abajas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blas Otsoko came out of the goal and Danilo Abajas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Román Riquelme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Otsoko having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Modesto Celino was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Club Atletico Los Andes got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Celino. Modesto Celino kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Club Atletico Los Andes's Geronimo Tirso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Mogel in the 71st minute of play. Geronimo Tirso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Renzo Rodrigo in the 72nd minute. Remigio Florin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Modesto Celino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blas Otsoko was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Blas Otsoko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Celino in the 82nd minute of play. Modesto Celino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Blas Otsoko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remigio Florin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blas Otsoko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Celino in the 95th minute of the match. Club Atletico Los Andes were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
