Geronimo Tirso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Los Andes's Lisandro Kusko got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute Denis Ur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Tirso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Hodei in the 17th minute of play forced Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goalkeeper Nemesio Gonchan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Isidor's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Los Andes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonio Isidor helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Club Atletico Los Andes booed when Atletas Campesinos F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Isidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nemesio Gonchan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kévin Zenón in the 20th minute. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Kévin Zenón took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Nemesio Gonchan to make any attempt to save it. After 28 played minutes Atletas Campesinos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Lander. 29 minutes into the match, Remigio Florin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nemesio Gonchan, 3-0. 36 minutes into the match, Danilo Abajas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nemesio Gonchan, 5-0. Denis Ur struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Geronimo Tirso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletas Campesinos F.C.. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kévin Zenón stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alfredo Roderigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Tirso having to interfere. Teobaldo Hodei scored 6-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nemesio Gonchan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Geronimo Tirso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Horacio Lander went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Nemesio Gonchan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Pelagius, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Geronimo Tirso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Isidor in the 77th minute of the match. Nemesio Gonchan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Florin in the 80th minute of play. Nemesio Gonchan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigio Florin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rogelio Quintyn charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rogelio Quintyn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Atletas Campesinos F.C. getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Rogelio Quintyn hit a great ball. In the 88th minute Remigio Florin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Gonchan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Ur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Club Atletico Los Andes's Geronimo Tirso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Lander in the 93rd minute of play. Danilo Abajas hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Club Atletico Los Andes were the better team. Club Atletico Los Andes's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
