In the 24th minute Angelo Markel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Tirso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teobaldo Hodei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camilo Jusepe kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. If Angelo Markel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Geronimo Tirso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ariel Pero's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Kévin Zenón could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Federico Goizeder made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Cavaliers FC's Augusto Firmo got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th match minute, Cavaliers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Barto to maneuver through the defense. Remigio Florin kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After 46 minutes of play, Club Atletico Los Andes's Kévin Zenón made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Federico Goizeder was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute Romeo Barto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Tirso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remigio Florin's late challenge caught a Cavaliers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remigio Florin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cavaliers FC booed when Club Atletico Los Andes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Florin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Federico Goizeder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kévin Zenón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Kévin Zenón's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Federico Goizeder was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Cavaliers FC made a substitution. Norberto Calvet replaced Romeo Barto. After 63 minutes Club Atletico Los Andes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Angelo Markel who took care of the corner kick. Cavaliers FC's Pedro Ferran got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cavaliers FC's Anacleto Madaleno was substituted for Angelo Markel. In the 75th minute of the match Silvio Honesto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Geronimo Tirso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 77th minute, Alexis Mac Allister made a precise shot to the right of Federico Goizeder. Cavaliers FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. A hard shot 80 in the game by Ariel Pero from a close distance when the talented Geronimo Tirso managed to make a qualified save. Club Atletico Los Andes's players were relieved. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Geronimo Tirso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cavaliers FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
