Rosendo Rocio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gustavo Chacaltana. General Velásquez's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Julian Rodriguezs short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Gustavo Chacaltana to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Javier Lia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hanamichi Sakuragi in the 16th minute of the match. After 19 minutes, Victoriano Paillemil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the General Velásquez and the Wolverine A.C.【LBF】 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, General Velásquez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Paillemil to maneuver through the defense. After 21 played minutes Wolverine A.C.【LBF】 got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Guib. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Paillemil in the 24th minute of play forced Wolverine A.C.【LBF】's goalkeeper Javier Lia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustavo Chacaltana was a little too slow when Julian Rodriguez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Narciso Urki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wolverine A.C.【LBF】's supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Urki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Chacaltana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hilario Opazo kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Apolo Lore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

If Guaberto Ler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the game, Danél Vildosola was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. General Velásquez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wolverine A.C.【LBF】 the free kick. After having played for 62 minutes, Narciso Urki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wolverine A.C.【LBF】's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Urki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gustavo Chacaltana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Rodriguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Wolverine A.C.【LBF】's Julian Rodriguez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustavo Chacaltana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. A collision led to General Velásquez getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Carmelo Avalos hit a great ball. Guaberto Ler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Chacaltana having to interfere. After having played for 83 minutes, Narciso Urki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wolverine A.C.【LBF】's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Urki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Wolverine A.C.【LBF】 fans cheered their team off the field, for while General Velásquez had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
