The supporters of DESTROY booed when GD Almargense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Casado didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, GD Almargense's Raul Viana got control of the ball when Albano Quintyn tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to DESTROY getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Haroldo Eneko hit a great ball. After 25 played minutes DESTROY got a freekick which was hit by Severino Dayam. Raul Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Eneko in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of GD Almargense booed when DESTROY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Dayam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Di Maria charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Di Maria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 41 played minutes DESTROY got a freekick which was hit by Di Maria. In the 43rd minute, a hard, long distance shot from Gualter Flores hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. The audience was convinced that Ricardo Pepi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vicente Enaut was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Luís Noronha kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. DESTROY's Di Maria quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jorge Lameirinhas, made in the 57th minute of the game. Di Maria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. DESTROY's Albano Quintyn got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Esteban Lawrence hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, DESTROY's Vicente Enaut got control of the ball when Ricardo Pepi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute Luís Casado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Enaut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haroldo Eneko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Raul Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GD Almargense's Raul Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Quintyn in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th match minute, GD Almargense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Noronha to maneuver through the defense. Severino Dayam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Raul Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severino Dayam hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Pepi in the 96th minute of play forced DESTROY's goalkeeper Vicente Enaut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
