After a rather tough play, Wolverine A.C.【LBF】's Amador Beliran got a free kick in the 26th minute. Javier Lia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolau Esparteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 45 played minutes Narciso Urki rounded GD Almargense's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

In the 64th match minute, GD Almargense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. Raul Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tavio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 minutes GD Almargense's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rosendo Rocio who took care of the corner kick. Rosendo Rocio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raul Viana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudio Guib during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th minute Ricardo Pepi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Lia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Pepi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Javier Lia made a huge save. 89 minutes into the game, Wolverine A.C.【LBF】's Narciso Urki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raul Viana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Ricardo Pepi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Javier Lia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Wolverine A.C.【LBF】's Claudio Guib got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The supporters of GD Almargense booed when Wolverine A.C.【LBF】 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Baudelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Wolverine A.C.【LBF】's zone, Gualter Flores stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Lia came out of the goal and Gualter Flores tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
