FC Stadtclub's Jacky Silvestri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Havier in the 20th minute of play. Jacky Silvestri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evelio Havier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvano Urdaspal hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Goran Guerra's late challenge caught a Guanacos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Goran Guerra helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, FC Stadtclub was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Goran Guerra to maneuver through the defense. If Evelio Havier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hunter Colloriti in the 37th minute of play forced Guanacos's goalkeeper Benicio Ulizes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guanacos's Benicio Ulizes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Mäder in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Evelio Havier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacky Silvestri. FC Stadtclub's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evelio Havier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After the first half Guanacos were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henrik Mäder was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Silvano Urdaspal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guanacos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 56th minute of the match, Evelio Havier tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jacky Silvestri saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Astor Salbatore kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Benicio Ulizes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gibson Dürst in the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd play minute Silvano Urdaspal came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jacky Silvestri. 0-4. A collision led to Guanacos getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Evelio Havier hit a great ball. Dick Cornetti kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Jacky Silvestri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Eudoxio in the 79th minute of play. Silvano Urdaspal came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jacky Silvestri could save by the left post. Evelio Havier hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Jacky Silvestri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Eudoxio in the 86th minute of the match. Casimiro Iago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Casimiro Iago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacky Silvestri having to interfere. Guanacos's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
