The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Quintin Steiner kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. The FC Stadtclub fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacky Silvestri should have stopped the shot. Guanacos were furious when Anacleto Sanduru was red carded, 14 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of FC Stadtclub booed when Guanacos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Sanduru didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 played minutes, FC Stadtclub's Harold Baum shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Candido Meder came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Stadtclub reached it. Severo Eudoxio hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Jacky Silvestri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvano Urdaspal went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 29 played minutes FC Stadtclub got a freekick which was hit by Hunter Colloriti. Jacky Silvestri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Lamberto in the 30th minute of play. Silvano Urdaspal struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Jacky Silvestri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guanacos. Silvano Urdaspal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacky Silvestri having to interfere. Evelio Havier struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Jacky Silvestri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guanacos. Silvano Urdaspal kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 38thth minute. Though ot was a great shot FC Stadtclub's keeper Jacky Silvestri was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. A collision led to FC Stadtclub getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Dick Cornetti hit a great ball. Severo Eudoxio kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Benicio Ulizes charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benicio Ulizes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd minute, Benicio Ulizes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Harold Baum came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the FC Stadtclub fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harold Baum couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Hunter Colloriti's late challenge caught a Guanacos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hunter Colloriti helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Stadtclub's Hunter Colloriti got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute, Astor Salbatore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Lucas Iratze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Harold Baum got free with Candido Meder in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute Silvano Urdaspal suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 71 minutes into the game, Quintin Steiner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Stadtclub's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guanacos the free kick. After 71 played minutes FC Stadtclub got a freekick which was hit by Quintin Steiner. Guanacos's Ruben Bernat was substituted for Evelio Havier. Guanacos's Isidoro Baumar was substituted for Benicio Ulizes. In the 73rd minute, Quintin Steiner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henrik Mäder kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Guanacos.
