Fokke Bergman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavel Karamazov in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute Sipke Oosting shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moises Remigio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pavel Karamazov was extremely unlucky when he, in the 20th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience was convinced that Pavel Karamazov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fokke Bergman was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. After 26 minutes, Pavel Karamazov made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Winthont FC's Fokke Bergman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Smit in the 35th minute of play forced Karamázov's goalkeeper Moises Remigio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sipke Oosting received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Moises Remigio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moises Remigio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sipke Oosting's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

With an all-out effort, Winthont FC's Moises Remigio threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roland Koekkoek, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Fokke Bergman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavel Karamazov in the 63rd minute of play. With a little luck, Karamázov's Moises Remigio got control of the ball when Roland Koekkoek tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Oscar Maxin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Pavel Karamazov put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fokke Bergman. Fokke Bergman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Florin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evelio Nesor hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the match, Winthont FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pavel Karamazov came free, but Fokke Bergman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Winthont FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Kurt Neijsen hit a great ball. In the 89th minute, Oscar Maxin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Pavel Karamazov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Abelardo Florin suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filip Smit during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Winthont FC's Filip Smit got a free kick in the 96th minute. In the 97th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Evelio Nesor hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Karamázov fans cheered their team off the field, for while Winthont FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
