In the 9th minute, Aurelio Distiratsu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aurelio Distiratsu might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florencio Innocenzio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aurelio Distiratsu ran back to his position shaking his head. Leonides Calvino hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Quin in the 27th minute of play forced Real Espartillar's goalkeeper Baldomero Burni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Campana Gitanes Club's Florencio Innocenzio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Galati in the 30th minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Campana Gitanes Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Cordara to maneuver through the defense. Real Espartillar's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Osvaldo Quin scored to the left of an out of position Baldomero Burni, making the score, 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aurelio Distiratsu to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Osvaldo Quin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomero Burni was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Baldomero Burni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Justin in the 55th minute of the match. Aurelio Distiratsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octavio Cordara's late challenge caught a Real Espartillar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octavio Cordara helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Campana Gitanes Club's Octavio Cordara got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute, Cornelio Nel sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Campana Gitanes Club's Florencio Innocenzio didn't even have to move. Real Espartillar's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 68th minute of the game, when Roberto Galati after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Campana Gitanes Club's goal. Roberto Galati was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Octavio Cordara kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Javier Justin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Burni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomero Burni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Justin in the 85th minute of play. After some careless play in the Real Espartillar defense, Osvaldo Quin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldomero Burni. The Real Espartillar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomero Burni should have stopped the shot. Osvaldo Quin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Baldomero Burni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Campana Gitanes Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
