In the 33rdth minute of the game Roland Koekkoek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Espartillar's Baldomero Burni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Real Espartillar getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Lino Jakue hit a great ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Tjeerd Jonkman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Winthont FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tjeerd Jonkman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 47 minutes of play, Winthont FC's Roland Koekkoek made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldomero Burni was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristiano Rolando was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Winthont FC's Niels Schirring ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Baldomero Burni. Baldomero Burni yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Roland Koekkoeks short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Baldomero Burni to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Baldomero Burni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roland Koekkoek in the 66th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Niels Schirring managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winthont FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Niels Schirring was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomero Burni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 70 minutes, Timoteo Poncio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Espartillar and the Winthont FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Timoteo Poncio hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Tjeerd Jonkman struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Baldomero Burni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Winthont FC.
