The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octavio Cordara couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andres Merexildo during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Campana Gitanes Club's Andres Merexildo got a free kick in the 19th minute. Octavio Cordara's late challenge caught a Real Espartillar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octavio Cordara helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute, one of Campana Gitanes Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Campana Gitanes Club. Florencio Innocenzio went to the wrong direction when Apolo Celio was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Baldomero Burni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Abechuco in the 29th minute of the match. Vinicio Abechuco charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vinicio Abechuco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Campana Gitanes Club's Vinicio Abechuco got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 37 minutes, Atilano Jatsu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Espartillar and the Campana Gitanes Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th minute, Atilano Jatsu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florencio Innocenzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Celio in the 45th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vinicio Abechuco to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Real Espartillar got a freekick which was hit by Lino Jakue. In the 57th minute, Cristiano Rolando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vinicio Abechuco got free with Baldomero Burni in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 67 minutes into the match, Campana Gitanes Club's Vinicio Abechuco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baldomero Burni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Osvaldo Quin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Florencio Innocenzio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Celio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Cristiano Rolando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Espartillar's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Rolando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florencio Innocenzio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Apolo Celio took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florencio Innocenzio. Florencio Innocenzio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Campana Gitanes Club's Reynaldo Weather got a free kick in the 80th minute. If Roberto Galati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Claudio Echeverri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd match minute, Real Espartillar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Nel to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Real Espartillar fully deserved thier win.
