Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Exequiel Zeballos in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Sørensen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Exequiel Zeballos made the kick off in the second half. Flóki Konráðsson kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After 55 minutes FC Grivata's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Iordache Luca who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Albin Apelquist managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Exequiel Zeballos in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Thomas Sørensen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, FC Grivata's Rayko Tzonkin got a free kick in the 68th minute. When Radowit Ogrodowicz came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the FC Grivata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radowit Ogrodowicz couldn't finish the play. FC Grivata's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Exequiel Zeballos 75 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. Manchester United F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Exequiel Zeballos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Sørensen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Exequiel Zeballos got free with Thomas Sørensen in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Exequiel Zeballos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Thomas Sørensen made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Manchester United F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
