Cris Ronaldo's late challenge caught a Sporting Buceo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cris Ronaldo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd match minute, Deportivo Popolizio FBC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cris Ronaldo to maneuver through the defense. After 24 played minutes Deportivo Popolizio FBC got a freekick which was hit by Marc Stenberg. After recieving a nice pass, Sporting Buceo's Yao Yan Sen tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Maximo Horquizar came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Rius Mascaran. But to his dismay, Rius Mascaran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Xavies Casavela took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Hermann Hesse to make any attempt to save it. 35 minutes into the game, Sporting Buceo's Charly Good nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hermann Hesse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Maximo Horquizar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rius Mascaran in the 40th minute of the match. When Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Rius Mascaran, in the 40th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Popolizio FBC. Segundo Aureo got a throw-in 45 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Xavies Casavela. The supporters of Sporting Buceo booed when Deportivo Popolizio FBC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Stenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Hermann Hesse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maureen Franco in the 62nd minute of play. Sporting Buceo's Maximo Horquizar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Buceo from getting a goal against them. Olly Morgan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Maximo Horquizar firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Olly Morgan could shoot a difficult shot in the 97th minute, which Maximo Horquizar however easily saved by the left post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Deportivo Popolizio FBC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
