After a defensive mix-up in Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s zone, Artemio Hermon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Todor came out of the goal and Artemio Hermon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute Rodrigo Garci suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Laurentzi during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Cartero de Agronomia F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Laurentzi to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, Hydra's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Errando came free, but Ermegildo Txurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 57thth minute of the game Artemio Hermon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Marcos Todor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Artemio Hermon put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marcos Todor. Ermegildo Txurio made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Anselmo Errando sent off a good shot on target. After 63 minutes, Alejo Sengrat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cartero de Agronomia F.C. and the Hydra players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Alejo Sengrat got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Marcos Todor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Hermon in the 66th minute of play. When Melquiades Formerio fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hydra's protests and gave Melquiades Formerio a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 played minutes Hydra got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Formerio. Hydra's Alfredo Oier was substituted for Remigio Salvator. Melquiades Formerio kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Gavino Jax managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gavino Jax was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermegildo Txurio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
