A4p FC Gad's James Batistuta was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 9th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Durval Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from King Scorpio in the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by James Batistuta in the 14th minute of play forced Relyn Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Durval Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Relyn Futebol Clube's Durval Marinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Relyn Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. After 24 minutes, Felipe Santos made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. A4p FC Gad's Glenn Fyfe tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Felipe Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Relyn Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Glenn Fyfe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Santos in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Glenn Fyfe saved A4p FC Gad from getting behind. 30 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Relyn Futebol Clube's Felipe Santos fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Durval Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from King Scorpio in the 31st minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Santos came free, but Glenn Fyfe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Santos in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Glenn Fyfe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michael Åkerström hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Durval Marinho was a little too slow when King Scorpio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 2-1. 45 minutes into the game, Relyn Futebol Clube's Felipe Santos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Glenn Fyfe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felipe Santos to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, James Batistuta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Durval Marinho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Durval Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from James Batistuta in the 53rd minute of the match. Glenn Fyfe made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Felipe Santos sent off a good shot on target. A4p FC Gad made a substitution. Anfilogino Manzi replaced Erasmo Damião. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by A4p FC Gad's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Romeo Cangeopol was slow to take the kick. During this time Relyn Futebol Clube's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Relyn Futebol Clube's Romeo Cangeopol to fire away a dangerous shot which Glenn Fyfe despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Durval Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from James Batistuta in the 68th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Iulian Berceanu in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Relyn Futebol Clube's Oséias Correia. The supporters of A4p FC Gad booed when Relyn Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oséias Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, King Scorpio made a precise shot to the right of Durval Marinho. Relyn Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Durval Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dumitru Purcărete in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Gică Busuioc left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A4p FC Gad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. A4p FC Gad had played much better football throughout.
