The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute of the match, Krisztián Véber tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Femke Bol saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Femke Bol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krisztián Véber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the game, Lucio Siekkötter recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Femke Bol. Lucio Siekkötter showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Yuri Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Esen Sanal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Figueira SC FSCMZ's Femke Bol got control of the ball when Lucio Siekkötter tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krisztián Véber in the 17th minute of play forced Figueira SC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Femke Bol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Femke Bol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krisztián Véber, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Esen Sanal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Reis in the 24th minute of play. Caetano Tasso hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Krisztián Véber got free with Femke Bol in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute of the match, Lucio Siekkötter got a very nice opportunity to score, but Femke Bol was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 45th match minute, Figueira SC FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urtzi Zamorano to maneuver through the defense. Dadá Macedo made in the 47th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Caetano Tasso. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Krisztián Véber in the 51st minute of play forced Figueira SC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Femke Bol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Femke Bol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krisztián Véber in the 55th minute of play. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Figueira SC FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Faustão Châton was slow to take the kick. During this time S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's players had a chance to rest. Femke Bol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Siekkötter in the 59th minute of the match. Femke Bol came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Krisztián Véber. But to his dismay, Krisztián Véber quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Lucio Siekkötter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Femke Bol having to make a save. Figueira SC FSCMZ's Femke Bol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lei Feng Yan in the 73rd minute of play. Femke Bol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krisztián Véber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Lei Feng Yan put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Femke Bol. Femke Bol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krisztián Véber in the 86th minute of play. Femke Bol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lei Feng Yan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the game, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Lucio Siekkötter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Femke Bol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Krisztián Véber in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Femke Bol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
