In a very dangerous position, a player in Błękitny Grom fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! Błękitny Grom's Jerzy Budzynski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juliusz Dzierwa in the 14th minute of play. Cezary Sitko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marek Ledochowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Błękitny Grom's goal looked a bit too open when Wieslaw Zawacki came free, but Jerzy Budzynski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Ledochowski in the 21st minute of play forced MKS Mazur Ełk's goalkeeper Cezary Sitko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juliusz Dzierwa charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juliusz Dzierwa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes MKS Mazur Ełk got a freekick which was hit by Juliusz Dzierwa. Jerzy Budzynski came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by MKS Mazur Ełk's Wieslaw Zawacki. But to his dismay, Wieslaw Zawacki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Błękitny Grom's Grzegorz Tokarczyk got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Jerzy Budzynski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juliusz Dzierwa, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute Wieslaw Zawacki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerzy Budzynski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th match minute, Błękitny Grom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zdzislaw Falke to maneuver through the defense. Michal Karbownik took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jerzy Budzynski. Błękitny Grom's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Hamdi Yavuzay in the 39th minute of play forced Błękitny Grom's goalkeeper Jerzy Budzynski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wieslaw Zawacki in the 41st minute of play forced Błękitny Grom's goalkeeper Jerzy Budzynski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wieslaw Zawacki took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jerzy Budzynski. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Manuel Kurczak to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wieslaw Zawacki got free with Jerzy Budzynski in the 50th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Michal Karbownik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Jerzy Budzynski made a huge save. 52 minutes into the game, MKS Mazur Ełk's Michal Karbownik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerzy Budzynski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. If Juliusz Dzierwa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 played minutes MKS Mazur Ełk got a freekick which was hit by Zeru Mezquita. A collision led to Błękitny Grom getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Grzegorz Tokarczyk hit a great ball. Wieslaw Zawacki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Jerzy Budzynski made a huge save. 70 minutes into the match, Błękitny Grom's goalkeeper Jerzy Budzynski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wieslaw Zawacki. 72 minutes into the game, Karol Swiderski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jerzy Budzynski. Karol Swiderski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Błękitny Grom's Jerzy Budzynski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Błękitny Grom from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the match, Błękitny Grom's goalkeeper Jerzy Budzynski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wieslaw Zawacki. After 87 minutes, Wieslaw Zawacki made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Błękitny Grom's Jerzy Budzynski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Błękitny Grom's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Boleslaw Charlap was slow to take the kick. During this time MKS Mazur Ełk's players had a chance to rest. The corner led MKS Mazur Ełk's Juliusz Jerzyk to fire away a dangerous shot which Jerzy Budzynski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 95 played minutes Błękitny Grom got a freekick which was hit by Jacek Sienkiewicz. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. MKS Mazur Ełk had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
