The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Szymon Soszka showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogumil Jenkot in the 16th minute of play forced FC WAWER's goalkeeper José Luis Chilavert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Norkins's Bogumil Jenkot suffered a sore thigh after 18 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Edmund Banach fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC WAWER's protests and gave Edmund Banach a yellow card for diving instead. 18 minutes into the game, one of FC WAWER:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. José Luis Chilavert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaroslaw Kaznocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Mikolaj Pochorylo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szymon Soszka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Jaroslaw Kaznocha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Norkins fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. With a little luck, FC WAWER's José Luis Chilavert got control of the ball when Oberst-Wilhelm Carabajal tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Norkins were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after FC WAWER's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Korneliusz Borcz took the corner. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mikolaj Pochorylo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, one of FC WAWER:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Piotr Szarmach replaced Napoleon Milan. When Oberst-Wilhelm Carabajal came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the FC Norkins fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oberst-Wilhelm Carabajal couldn't finish the play. Jaroslaw Kaznocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC WAWER's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaroslaw Kaznocha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. When the referee ended the match the FC Norkins players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
