The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ziemowit Kaczor kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. FC WAWER's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dominik Walec was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of Piast Choszczno booed when FC WAWER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seb Waweru didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Luis Chilavert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominik Walec, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 37 minutes into the game, Piast Choszczno's 武建松 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Luis Chilavert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. If Seb Waweru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dominik Walec stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bernard Banan struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when 武建松 got free with José Luis Chilavert in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC WAWER's José Luis Chilavert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 武建松 in the 69th minute of play. Nathan Carrier hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Bernard Banan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugeniusz Charlos was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Piast Choszczno's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
