In the 27th minute of the game Sergio Ojeda made a throw-in which Gianluca Lapadula played forward. After a rather tough play, AC Papicho's Ciro Sedeni got a free kick in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

With a little luck, AC Papicho's Alexander Shaw got control of the ball when Zoil Pequeño tried to sneak it across the goal line. Deportivo ScrugenFC's Leobardo Padierna was substituted for Zoil Pequeño. Deportivo ScrugenFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Deportivo ScrugenFC's Celestino Salgado was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alexander Shaw in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Frasquito Abrego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alexander Shaw was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Leobardo Padierna capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leobardo Padierna really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 93 minutes into the match, AC Papicho's 孟弘银 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jose Boldu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leobardo Padierna in the 96th minute of play forced AC Papicho's goalkeeper Alexander Shaw to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
