Tartalo Delatorre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Bordonoba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domenico Calcio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute, Bizen Gormaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Francisco Conceicão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zabal Bucaran. RAMBO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Conceicão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 20 minutes into the game, Atlético Grau Piura's Junior Quintana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zabal Bucaran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Junior Quintana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zabal Bucaran having to make a save. 23 minutes into the game, Atlético Grau Piura's Junior Quintana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After 39 minutes RAMBO FC's goalkeeper Zabal Bucaran managed, with a little bit of luck, save Junior Quintana's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. 39 minutes into the match, Junior Quintana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zabal Bucaran. If Junior Quintana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, RAMBO FC's Zabal Bucaran got control of the ball when Junior Quintana tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Junior Quintana took a quick shot and it went in 7-0 without a chance for Zabal Bucaran to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelo Bordonoba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Junior Quintana might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zabal Bucaran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Junior Quintana ran back to his position shaking his head. Zabal Bucaran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Junior Quintana in the 51st minute of play. The supporters of Atlético Grau Piura booed when RAMBO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Cacho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atlético Grau Piura's Ihintza Lumbreras was substituted for Federico Moura. After 57 played minutes RAMBO FC got a freekick which was hit by Astor Cacho. Zabal Bucaran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Junior Quintana's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the game, one of RAMBO FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Junior Quintana in the 68th minute of play forced RAMBO FC's goalkeeper Zabal Bucaran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 70 minutes, Junior Quintana made it 9-0 with a short kick to the right side. RAMBO FC's Zabal Bucaran tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Atlético Grau Piura made a substitution. Milio Izaga replaced Francisco Conceicão. In the 86th minute, Thor Reyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Junior Quintana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zabal Bucaran having to make a save. In the 90th minute Junior Quintana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zabal Bucaran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Junior Quintana notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of RAMBO FC's Zabal Bucaran. Zabal Bucaran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Atlético Grau Piura had played much better football throughout.
