Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aurel Teodoroiu got the match started through his kick off. Marioara Matei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viorel Iacobescu in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Ionică Bădilescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert Tudor. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aurel Teodoroiu in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marioara Matei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 17 minutes of play, U21 Romania's Robert Tudor made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In a very dangerous position, a player in U21 Romania fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! The referee gave FC PIETROSUL -MM- a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aurel Teodoroiu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of U21 Romania's Marioara Matei. 2-1. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Cristi Ciprian was substituted for Aurel Teodoroiu. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robert Tudor was the one to do the kick off. U21 Romania's Marioara Matei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristi Ciprian in the 55th minute of play. Cristi Ciprian scored 2-2 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marioara Matei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristi Ciprian got free with Marioara Matei in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
