Leoncio Cea's late challenge caught a Smoliny FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucjan Zahemski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Alberto Salgado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Smoliny FC's Lucjan Nowakowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bermejo Lanchares in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of DEOXYS F.C. booed when Smoliny FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wojciech Solarek didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariusz Gaszynski couldn't finish the play. Francisco Alberto Salgado was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Fabian Jaroszewicz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Patryk Grabowicz charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patryk Grabowicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mariusz Gaszynski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Francisco Alberto Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucjan Zahemski was the one to do the kick off. If Lucjan Zahemski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to DEOXYS F.C. getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Lino Anguita hit a great ball. Patryk Grabowicz hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Francisco Alberto Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucjan Zahemski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Fabian Jaroszewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisco Alberto Salgado was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Carlos Gustavo Akel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Ezmundo Daire managed to get in a good position for a shot. DEOXYS F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ezmundo Daire was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucjan Nowakowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Smoliny FC's Patryk Grabowicz got a free kick in the 68th minute. Boguslaw Niezywy kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Lucjan Nowakowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Gustavo Akel in the 71st minute. Francisco Alberto Salgado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariusz Gaszynski's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. The supporters of DEOXYS F.C. booed when Smoliny FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Rydz didn't get a good kick on the ball.
