The nice shot from Tanek Olejniczak in the 6thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Hernan Jerrald had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Hernan Jerrald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olgierd Klewinski in the 7th minute of the match. Tanek Olejniczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Jerrald having to interfere. A collision led to Instituto FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Gaspar Ignado hit a great ball. After 16 minutes of play, Stece SSA's Tanek Olejniczak made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hernan Jerrald was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Obano in the 19th minute of play forced Stece SSA's goalkeeper Karol Tarka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Instituto FC's Hernan Jerrald proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Instituto FC from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute Olgierd Klewinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Jerrald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 played minutes Instituto FC got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Isias. In the 29th minute of the match, Tanek Olejniczak got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hernan Jerrald was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 30th minute, Froilan Estevon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute Olgierd Klewinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Jerrald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes in the game, Tanek Olejniczak fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hernan Jerrald having to interfere. Hernan Jerrald made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Tanek Olejniczak sent off a good shot on target. If Jose Obano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Tanek Olejniczak made a precise shot to the right of Hernan Jerrald. Instituto FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Igor Dolcet made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Igor Dolcet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karol Tarka was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. A collision led to Instituto FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Adrian Patrido hit a great ball. Witomir Tepper, 57 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Tanek Olejniczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Jerrald having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Instituto FC's Gaspar Ignado got a free kick in the 61st minute. Olgierd Klewinski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Stece SSA defense, Igor Dolcet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karol Tarka. The Stece SSA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karol Tarka should have stopped the shot. When Bartosz Basinski fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stece SSA's protests and gave Bartosz Basinski a yellow card for diving instead. Karol Tarka acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 72nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Adrian Patrido. Wladyslaw Kajfasz's late challenge caught a Instituto FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wladyslaw Kajfasz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Stece SSA's Wladyslaw Kajfasz got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 77th minute of the match Adrian Patrido sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karol Tarka skillfully saved the ball. Tanek Olejniczak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hernan Jerrald read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Stece SSA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Witomir Tepper in the 82nd minute. Igor Dolcet did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-3 to the left of a surprised Karol Tarka 85 minutes into the match. If Jose Obano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Dolcet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hernan Jerrald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olgierd Klewinski in the 99th minute of the match. The Instituto FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Instituto FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
