The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes, Matteo Marques mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Dapper and the Maia AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th minute, Matteo Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maia AC's Raul Trigueiro got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, The Dapper's Noe Fandiño got a free kick in the 9th minute. Naelio Viñambre's late challenge caught a Maia AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Naelio Viñambre helped the player get up and apologised. Uriel Combarros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Noel Liberato got free with Uriel Combarros in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Uriel Combarros stood somewhat misplaced when Noel Liberato came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 25 minute. Maia AC's Higino Baptista quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Efraim Grillo, made in the 34th minute of the game. Higino Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Uriel Combarros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 37 minutes of play, The Dapper's Matteo Marques made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Macena was left in no man's land by his defense there! Raul Trigueiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Noel Liberato came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Maia AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Noel Liberato couldn't finish the play. The Maia AC fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Maia AC's Noel Liberato looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Noel Liberato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Uriel Combarros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to The Dapper getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Efraim Grillo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romão Vasconcelos in the 83rd minute of play forced The Dapper's goalkeeper Uriel Combarros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Raul Trigueiro made a precise shot to the right of Uriel Combarros. The Dapper's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Noel Liberato took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Uriel Combarros. Uriel Combarros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. There was no doubt that Maia AC were the better team. Maia AC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
