In the 9th minute, Borys Puzio made a precise shot to the right of Mathias Kathan. Kings Lynn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 13 minutes into the game, Kings Lynn's Jacob Josef Fromm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wojciech Derlanga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Mathias Kathan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borys Puzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 played minutes Kings Lynn got a freekick which was hit by Maximilian Vogt. 23 minutes into the match, Bydgoszcz's goalkeeper Wojciech Derlanga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damian Casutt. Bydgoszcz's Borys Puzio got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Borys Puzio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mathias Kathan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olaf Mis in the 35th minute of the match. If Borys Puzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mathias Kathan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stasio Nienajadlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Borys Puzio took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mathias Kathan. Mathias Kathan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 45th match minute, Kings Lynn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Grünenfelder to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Jacob Josef Fromm made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes Bydgoszcz's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Micha Hilti who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Kings Lynn's Micha Hilti to fire away a dangerous shot which Wojciech Derlanga despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Borys Puzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Kathan having to interfere. Borys Puzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Stasio Nienajadlo came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Bydgoszcz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stasio Nienajadlo couldn't finish the play. Olaf Mis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Mathias Kathan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathias Kathan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Borys Puzio in the 66th minute of play. Stasio Nienajadlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. In the 87th minute of the match, Borys Puzio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mathias Kathan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Borys Puzio came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Bydgoszcz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Borys Puzio couldn't finish the play. Mathias Kathan made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Borys Puzio sent off a good shot on target. If Borys Puzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Borys Puzio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-5 in the 95th playminute. The Kings Lynn fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bydgoszcz were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
