The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clive Seng during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th minute, Clive Seng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shirebrook's Daniz Chai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waclaw Dubiel in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Radomir Gregorczyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 11 played minutes FC Ścinawa got a freekick which was hit by Ulryk Kasprzak. Daniz Chai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waclaw Dubiel in the 20th minute of the match. Shukrie Tuan struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Dariusz Lewicki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shirebrook. Dariusz Lewicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shukrie Tuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. When Shirebrook's Shukrie Tuan in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Shukrie Tuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Dariusz Lewicki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shukrie Tuan in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dariusz Lewicki saved FC Ścinawa from getting behind. Dariusz Lewicki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jerry Yeo in the 39th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerry Yeo got free with Dariusz Lewicki in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Jonathan Boon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dariusz Lewicki made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Jerry Yeo sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Waclaw Dubiel was the one to do the kick off. If Radomir Gregorczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Shirebrook's Shukrie Tuan in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience was convinced that Jerry Yeo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dariusz Lewicki was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Mateusz Gotfryd hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. When Shukrie Tuan came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Shirebrook fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shukrie Tuan couldn't finish the play. Jerry Yeo took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dariusz Lewicki. Dariusz Lewicki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Shirebrook's Jerry Yeo got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to FC Ścinawa getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Rafal Mis hit a great ball. Alam Choo, 86 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Shukrie Tuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91stth minute of the game Shukrie Tuan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Ścinawa's Dariusz Lewicki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jerry Yeo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dariusz Lewicki having to interfere. A collision led to FC Ścinawa getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Mateusz Gotfryd hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Shirebrook were the better team. Shirebrook's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
