Enrique Leite's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo de Mendonça read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Sporting Uai MzC™'s attentive Flavinho Cabral managed to snatch the ball when Naldo de Alcântara made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Flavinho Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Uai MzC™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Flavinho Cabral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo de Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's José Paulo Xavier got a free kick in the 21st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Leite in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo de Mendonça saved Rio Verde F.C CIMZ from getting behind. Christoffer Kempel made in the 26th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Naldo de Alcântara. Enrique Leite took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo de Mendonça. Paulo de Mendonça dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 30 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Leite came free, but Paulo de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piotr Osikowicz in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Stig Ahlbeck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Paulo de Mendonça was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ulisses Mello made in the 39th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Sabo D Agostino however managed to control. 39 minutes into the match, Enrique Leite notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Paulo de Mendonça. Paulo de Mendonça was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Paulo de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piotr Osikowicz in the 42nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Rio Verde F.C CIMZ defense, Piotr Osikowicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo de Mendonça. The Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo de Mendonça should have stopped the shot. In the 47th minute, Enrique Leite ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo de Mendonça was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enrique Leite was the one to do the kick off. Enrique Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the match, Piotr Osikowicz notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Paulo de Mendonça. Paulo de Mendonça was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 63rd minute, Piotr Osikowicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo de Mendonça was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. Flavinho Cabral's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Paulo de Mendonça firmly grabbed it by the left post. Paulo de Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Enrique Leite's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo de Mendonça read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Paulo de Mendonça made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrique Leite in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Piotr Osikowicz notched a goal, 0-12, to the right of Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Paulo de Mendonça. Paulo de Mendonça was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 82nd minute, Sporting Uai MzC™'s Enrique Leite ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Paulo de Mendonça. After 86 minutes Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Enrique Leite who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Stig Ahlbeck heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 88 minutes into the game, Piotr Osikowicz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paulo de Mendonça. Piotr Osikowicz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-14. In the 91st minute, Enrique Leite reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paulo de Mendonça. The goal made the score 0-15. A sloppy throw-in by Naldo de Alcântara in the 94th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sporting Uai MzC™'s Flavinho Cabral. 97 minutes into the match, Enrique Leite notched a goal, 0-16, to the right of Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Paulo de Mendonça. Paulo de Mendonça was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
