SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilfredo Benvide was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. With 14 minutes on the clock, Martin Braun commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.! An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Bartuelo in the 18th minute of play forced SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goalkeeper Niklas Sauter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niklas Sauter made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Eustaquio Bartuelo sent off a good shot on target. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilfredo Benvide stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Camilo Mondragon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beat Buckmann in the 53rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s zone, Wilfredo Benvide stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niklas Sauter came out of the goal and Wilfredo Benvide tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute, Andy Zeyer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Formentera defense, Yannik Keitel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Mondragon. The Formentera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Mondragon should have stopped the shot. Niklas Sauter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Benvide in the 64th minute of play. Niklas Sauter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Benvide in the 67th minute of the match. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Yannik Keitel got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Benvide came free, but Niklas Sauter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 76 in the game by Yannik Keitel from a close distance when the talented Camilo Mondragon managed to make a qualified save. Formentera's players were relieved. Niklas Sauter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Benvide, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 89 played minutes Formentera got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Chus. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eustaquio Bartuelo during the 91st minute. After a rather tough play, Formentera's Geronimo Silviano got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beat Buckmann got free with Camilo Mondragon in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 95 played minutes SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. got a freekick which was hit by Yannik Keitel. When the referee blew the final whistle, Formentera could leave the field as winners, despite SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. having more of the ball for most of the match.
