But to his dismay, Bethel Raba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Dennis Bergkamp struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Paulo de Mendonça didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Agro Imortal. After 18th play minutes Dennis Bergkamp shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Paulo de Mendonça and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Agro Imortal's Valdir de Amorim got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Tadeu Britto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Agro Imortal the free kick. Paulo de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Bergkamp in the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zac Ba Loua to make the kick off. This resulted in a 0-9 score and a disappointed Paulo de Mendonça as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 70th minute, Dennis Bergkamp made a precise shot to the right of Paulo de Mendonça. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. 74 minutes into the match, Agro Imortal's Denílson de Amorim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo de Mendonça narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 92 minutes Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oswaldo Bueno who took care of the corner kick. Dennis Bergkamp was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. When the match was over Agro Imortal could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rio Verde F.C CIMZ throughout the match.
