When Luís Gustavo Messias fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jataiense Futebol Clube's protests and gave Luís Gustavo Messias a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Albert Remus to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Arantes in the 83rd minute of play forced BESTIA GDAŃSK's goalkeeper Leszek Huchro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute Albert Remus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91stth minute of the game Nicolás Castillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BESTIA GDAŃSK's Leszek Huchro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
