Paulo de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jardel Baggio in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Rodriguinho Santana got a free kick in the 12th minute. Paulo de Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niklas Bergdal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cauan Loyola in the 19th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cauan Loyola in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo de Mendonça saved Rio Verde F.C CIMZ from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cauan Loyola in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo de Mendonça prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 26 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Cauan Loyola came free, but Paulo de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jardel Baggio in the 27th minute of play forced Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Paulo de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ITAFUT 4EVER's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jean-Paul Møffelmand in the 28th minute. Jean-Paul Møffelmand made a great header on ITAFUT 4EVER's corner, it was just that Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Paulo de Mendonça managed to reach the ball for a save. Paulo de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cauan Loyola in the 40th minute of the match. Cauan Loyola took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo de Mendonça. Paulo de Mendonça dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 44th minute Cauan Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Paulo de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauan Loyola in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Jardel Baggio notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Paulo de Mendonça. Paulo de Mendonça was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Zac Ba Loua made the kick off in the second half. Paulo de Mendonça made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastião Henriques in the 52nd minute. ITAFUT 4EVER were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jean-Paul Møffelmand took the corner. 56 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Paulo de Mendonça had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Denílson Palmeira. In the 57th minute of the match ITAFUT 4EVER got a corner. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jean-Paul Møffelmand ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Paulo de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauan Loyola in the 59th minute of play. Cauan Loyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When ITAFUT 4EVER's Cauan Loyola in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Denílson Palmeira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. ITAFUT 4EVER's Edward Huyghebaert was substituted for Cauan Loyola. Jardel Baggio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Paulo de Mendonça made a huge save. In the 74th minute, Jardel Baggio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paulo de Mendonça. The goal made the score 0-8. ITAFUT 4EVER's Sidney Bertassi was substituted for Jardel Baggio. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Paulo de Mendonça proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Rio Verde F.C CIMZ from getting a goal against them. In the 85th minute Sidney Bertassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ITAFUT 4EVER fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when ITAFUT 4EVER's Raphael Fenton looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-10 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Paulo de Mendonça, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
