Astor Aragones took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Bertassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Astor Aragones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Bertassi in the 4th minute of the match. In the 5thth minute of the game Dennis Bergkamp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Formentera's Astor Aragones was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silverio Napier made in the 10th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Agro Imortal's Osmar Baiano. After having played for 14 minutes, Dennis Bergkamp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Agro Imortal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dennis Bergkamp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Formentera's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Bergkamp came free, but Astor Aragones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Dennis Bergkamp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Agro Imortal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Formentera the free kick. Dennis Bergkamp hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Formentera defense, Dennis Bergkamp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Astor Aragones. The Formentera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Astor Aragones should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute Dennis Bergkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Aragones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dennis Bergkamp came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Agro Imortal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dennis Bergkamp couldn't finish the play. Osmar Baiano hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Astor Aragones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Bertassi in the 47th minute of play. The Formentera players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Agro Imortal were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Narciso Bertassi made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Formentera's goalkeeper Astor Aragones had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Narciso Bertassi. 53 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Benvide notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Agro Imortal's Aílton Fernandez. Aílton Fernandez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 59th minute, Dennis Bergkamp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Formentera's Astor Aragones proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Formentera from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Bergkamp in the 73rd minute of play forced Formentera's goalkeeper Astor Aragones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Astor Aragones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Bergkamp in the 75th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Agro Imortal's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Benvide came free, but Aílton Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eustaquio Bartuelo charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eustaquio Bartuelo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eustaquio Bartuelo kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Agro Imortal made a substitution. Bethel Raba replaced Narciso Bertassi. The supporters of Agro Imortal booed when Formentera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustaquio Bartuelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emílio Teixeira hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute of the match Clemente Rodriguez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aílton Fernandez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Delfim da Costa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Astor Aragones. Formentera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delfim da Costa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. When the final whistle sounded Agro Imortal left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Formentera.
