Eberardo De Mena came out of the goal and Per Tunström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute, Mackenzie Fahlgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute, Sten Hökqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andréas Igelström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magne Gunnarsson having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Rönnöfors FF's Olimpiu Mirciulescu got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute Henry Fagerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eberardo De Mena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 played minutes Rönnöfors FF got a freekick which was hit by Olimpiu Mirciulescu. In the 28th minute of the match, Indrasvat Parmar sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Magne Gunnarsson showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Arne Klementsson in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Magne Gunnarsson saved Rönnöfors FF from getting behind. In the 39th minute Ivar Haegg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magne Gunnarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Morgan Björkdahl succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 43rd playminute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ivar Haegg made a kick off. Eberardo De Mena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Tunström in the 55th minute of the match. Eberardo De Mena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Fagerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper Magne Gunnarsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mackenzie Fahlgren. In the 78th match minute, Rönnöfors FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sten Hökqvist to maneuver through the defense. Eberardo De Mena came out of the goal and Per Tunström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eberardo De Mena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Fagerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Indrasvat Parmar in the 96th minute of play. The referee's whistle sounded for the end of the second half. The match was tied at 1-1. None of the players looked happy at the prospect of extra-time.

Bebbi United's Eberardo De Mena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 100th minute of the match, managed to save Bebbi United from getting a goal against them. Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivar Haegg in the 104th minute of play. Eberardo De Mena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Fagerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 106th minute. After a rather tough play, Bebbi United's Evgeniy Kabalevskiy got a free kick in the 108th minute. Eberardo De Mena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Fagerberg in the 110th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bebbi United's Sonny Ekström got a free kick in the 114th minute. When the referee signaled the end of the first half of extra-time the score was 1-1. The players had a chance to rest for a moment before the second half.

The players still looked rather fresh even though it was time for second half of the overtime. Ivar Haegg did a quick kick off. 127 minutes into the match, Bebbi United's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Fagerberg came free, but Eberardo De Mena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 131st minute, Morgan Björkdahl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eberardo De Mena was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.
