Tanek Wojtyna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damazy Jucha, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Lew Yashin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Witold Bycofski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. Lew Yashin didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when U21 Poland's Witold Bycofski shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. If Witold Bycofski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lew Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witold Bycofski in the 34th minute of play. Witold Bycofski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lew Yashin having to make a save. Lew Yashin made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Witold Bycofski sent off a good shot on target. Modlau were furious when Lester Subili was red carded, 42 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Barry McCray made a kick off. Witold Bycofski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damian Furlit kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Modlau's zone, Witold Bycofski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lew Yashin came out of the goal and Witold Bycofski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, U21 Poland's Tanek Wojtyna got control of the ball when Barry McCray tried to sneak it across the goal line. When U21 Poland's Witold Bycofski in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Modlau's goalie prevented a goal. Barry McCray succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-1 in the 62nd playminute. 65 minutes into the game, Witold Bycofski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Lew Yashin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. U21 Poland's Er Håland was substituted for Witold Bycofski. Modlau were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after U21 Poland's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Barry McCray took the corner. After taking down the ball on Modlau's corner Barry McCray fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tanek Wojtyna quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Toni Kroos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tanek Wojtyna was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. After 71 minutes U21 Poland's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Barry McCray who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Modlau's corner Barry McCray fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tanek Wojtyna quite easily take care of the ball. In the 87th minute of the game Boleslaw Slazak made a throw-in which Zula Puszynski played forward. Mariusz Truskovskiy kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Lew Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Er Håland in the 92nd minute of play. Toni Kroos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. U21 Poland's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
