Rega Merida CF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wasyl Dziurowicz in the 22nd minute. Rega Merida CF's Konstanty Wawro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew Carrillos in the 25th minute of play. In the 37th minute Nistor Sârban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Dembkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victoria Mlawa's Kryspin Dembkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nistor Sârban in the 39th minute of play. Kryspin Dembkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nistor Sârban in the 41st minute of play. In the 47th minute, Nistor Sârban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrew Carrillos was the one to do the kick off. Kryspin Dembkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nistor Sârban, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute, Nistor Sârban reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kryspin Dembkowski. The goal made the score 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Wasyl Dziurowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rega Merida CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Wasyl Dziurowicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kryspin Dembkowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cemal Palabıyık might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kryspin Dembkowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cemal Palabıyık ran back to his position shaking his head. Lech Matela charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lech Matela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Rega Merida CF getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Nistor Sârban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
