Olympique Gdynia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio-Roman Zabaleta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stanislaw Walczak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iwan Dziuma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanislaw Walczak in the 53rd minute of play. Olympique Gdynia's Tanek Ostrowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Olympique Gdynia from getting a goal against them. Heide FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 87 minutes into the match, Stanislaw Walczak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iwan Dziuma. Heide FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stanislaw Walczak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Iwan Dziuma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanislaw Walczak, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Czeslaw Domeracki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Olympique Gdynia had played much better football throughout.
