With an all-out effort, BK Gubbhöft's Torsten Björnsson threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fidel Veronica, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 17th minute, BK Gubbhöft's Ove Salkvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 22nd minute, Alexis Sánchez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stockholm Generals fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 27 minutes into the match, BK Gubbhöft's goal looked a bit too open when Milan Pavlovský came free, but Isaac Jonasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30thth minute of the game Ove Salkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stockholm Generals's Torsten Björnsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ove Salkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Torsten Björnsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ove Salkvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Torsten Björnsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ove Salkvist in the 31st minute. Ove Salkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Torsten Björnsson made a huge save. Torsten Björnsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ove Salkvist went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ove Salkvist in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Torsten Björnsson saved Stockholm Generals from getting behind. Ove Salkvist's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Torsten Björnsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ove Salkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Torsten Björnsson having to make a save. Torsten Björnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Veronica, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. BK Gubbhöft's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ciro Incendio in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Milan Pavlovský made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Stockholm Generals's goal looked a bit too open when Ove Salkvist came free, but Torsten Björnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Fidel Veronica got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexis Sánchez got free with Isaac Jonasson in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st minute Ove Salkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Björnsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute Milan Pavlovský shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Jonasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stockholm Generals made a substitution. Jens-Erik Ahlbom replaced Sören Lindqvist. BK Gubbhöft's Jonas Ahlin was substituted for Fidel Veronica. A sloppy throw-in by Brian Bryngelsson in the 66th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by BK Gubbhöft's Bernard Solarek. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Sten Hydén managed to get in a good position for a shot. BK Gubbhöft's supporters rose to their feet, but Sten Hydén was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torsten Björnsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isaac Jonasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milan Pavlovský, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torsten Björnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Hydén in the 88th minute of play. BK Gubbhöft's Isaac Jonasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexis Sánchez in the 90th minute of play. Torsten Björnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Ahlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute, Richard Pilgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
