Marcus Ekrot made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Birger Mårtensson sent off a good shot on target. In the 8th minute Eric Van Lint shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Asteguieta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eric Van Lint struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Jairo Asteguieta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vykans Vikingar. Jairo Asteguieta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Börje Stål in the 13th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Vykans Vikingar's corner Fernan Berart fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jairo Asteguieta quite easily take care of the ball. Leonardo Trancoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of BV Borussia Hammarby booed when Vykans Vikingar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mats Hermansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute Eric Van Lint shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Asteguieta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute BV Borussia Hammarby were awarded a corner. Anders Örtlund went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led BV Borussia Hammarby's Anders Örtlund to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcus Ekrot despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th minute BV Borussia Hammarby were awarded a corner. Anders Örtlund went to the cornerflag to take it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Orvar Kihlman was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Birger Mårtensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Börje Stål who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Jairo Asteguieta when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 70 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Orvar Kihlman came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BV Borussia Hammarby's Jairo Asteguieta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save BV Borussia Hammarby from getting a goal against them. BV Borussia Hammarby's Hong Hao Fei was substituted for Birger Mårtensson. BV Borussia Hammarby made a substitution. Jairo Asteguieta acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 89th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fernan Berart. When Honorio Florin came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the BV Borussia Hammarby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorio Florin couldn't finish the play. Abdi Revis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jairo Asteguieta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. The Vykans Vikingar players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented BV Borussia Hammarby from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
