Torsten Björnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Melberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 11th minute, Stockholm Generals's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Urban Åkerberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Di Röe's Conny Bjursell managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leo Göransson in the 16 minute of the game. After having played for 18 minutes, Sten Melberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Di Röe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sten Melberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Stockholm Generals defense, Sten Melberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torsten Björnsson. The Stockholm Generals fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torsten Björnsson should have stopped the shot. Torsten Björnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sten Melberg in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stockholm Generals's goalkeeper Torsten Björnsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 30 played minutes Di Röe got a freekick which was hit by Herman Benett. In the 32nd minute Milan Pavlovský shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Kristiansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sten Melberg got free with Torsten Björnsson in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Di Röe's attentive Conny Bjursell managed to snatch the ball when Sören Lindqvist made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. Sten Melberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Torsten Björnsson having to make a save. 35 minutes into the match, Stockholm Generals's goalkeeper Torsten Björnsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sten Melberg. Sten Melberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Björnsson having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, Sten Melberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Di Röe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sten Melberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stockholm Generals's Torsten Björnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Melberg in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Milan Pavlovský made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Sten Melberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Di Röe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 54th match minute, Stockholm Generals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sören Lindqvist to maneuver through the defense. After 57 minutes of play, Di Röe's Sten Melberg made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Torsten Björnsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stockholm Generals were furious when Robin Valström was red carded, 61 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Di Röe made a substitution. Ivan Drake replaced Edu Loss. Stockholm Generals's Sebastian Forsell was substituted for Brian Bryngelsson. Di Röe's Romeo Gologan was substituted for Sten Melberg. In a very dangerous position, a player in Stockholm Generals fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! Di Röe's Ivan Drake got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romeo Gologan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Torsten Björnsson having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milan Pavlovský in the 73rd minute of play forced Di Röe's goalkeeper George Kristiansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo da Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Torsten Björnsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Di Röe. 76 minutes into the game, Sebastian Forsell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stockholm Generals's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Di Röe the free kick. The supporters of Di Röe booed when Stockholm Generals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Forsell didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78thth minute of the game Romeo Gologan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stockholm Generals's Torsten Björnsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Torsten Björnsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Gologan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, Stockholm Generals's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Gologan came free, but Torsten Björnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
