Placido Gartzea scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrick Armstrong, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of San Lorenzo 11 booed when ManagerZone Crew was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Våleman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The San Lorenzo 11 fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when San Lorenzo 11's Placido Gartzea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With 20 minutes on the clock, Andreas Sjöstrand commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. When the match had been going on for 22 minutes, San Lorenzo 11's Placido Gartzea got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Patrick Armstrong. Thorsten Dietz kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, ManagerZone Crew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Våleman to maneuver through the defense. San Lorenzo 11's Abelardo Balasi came free and shot a quick shot against goal 33 minutes in the game, fortunately Patrick Armstrong had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 34th minute of the match San Lorenzo 11 got a corner. ManagerZone Crew's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hudson Abreu ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Hudson Abreu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Patrick Armstrong quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 39 minutes into the match, ManagerZone Crew's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Gartzea came free, but Patrick Armstrong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Adrian Våleman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Aldo Bilintx made a huge save. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo 11's Leonides Etxekopar got a free kick in the 56th minute. After some careless play in the ManagerZone Crew defense, Placido Gartzea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrick Armstrong. The ManagerZone Crew fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrick Armstrong should have stopped the shot. San Lorenzo 11's Aldo Bilintx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Linkhorst in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, ManagerZone Crew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Majewski to maneuver through the defense. San Lorenzo 11's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hudson Abreu in the 70th minute. After taking down the ball on San Lorenzo 11's corner Claudio Bucciarelli fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Patrick Armstrong quite easily take care of the ball. Aldo Bilintx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Våleman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to ManagerZone Crew getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Andreas Spante hit a great ball. Robert Ununger hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After 79 minutes, Andreas Spante mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ManagerZone Crew and the San Lorenzo 11 players grew even worse after the yellow card. San Lorenzo 11's Aldo Bilintx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Våleman in the 83rd minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo 11's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Linkhorst came free, but Aldo Bilintx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thorbjörn Olerius's late challenge caught a San Lorenzo 11's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thorbjörn Olerius helped the player get up and apologised.
