The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Soczewki Gliwice:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ:s goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomasz Sobania made a kick off. In the 55th minute Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ were awarded a corner. Mikolaj Beninda went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's Mikolaj Beninda to fire away a dangerous shot which Wincenty Puchlik despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Davinson Sánchez got free in front of the goal in the 55th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Wincenty Puchlik was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's 程国荣 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomasz Sobania in the 57th minute of play. After having played for 60 minutes, Davinson Sánchez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davinson Sánchez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Tudor Simionică took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for 程国荣 to make any attempt to save it. 73 minutes into the match, Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's goal looked a bit too open when Tomasz Sobania came free, but 程国荣 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wincenty Puchlik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Calheiros in the 78th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Matela came free, but 程国荣 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee signaled the end of the first half of extra-time the score was 2-2. The players had a chance to rest for a moment before the second half.

The players looked a little tired but resolute before the second half of the overtime, where Tomasz Sobania took the kick off. Tomasz Sobania hit a great freekick 129 minutes into the match. The game was still level after extra-time. The match had to be settled by penalties!

Wincenty Puchlik had in the 134thth minute some difficulties stopping Tomasz Sobania's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ:s Wincenty Puchlik showed great skill when he stopped Edgar Matela:s penalty. Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
