The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Medárd Horváth took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fulgencio Eyague. Fulgencio Eyague dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Medárd Horváth in the 11th minute of play. Peter Schmeichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peep Pronk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Narcis Răcănel hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Fulgencio Eyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calistrat Ailincai in the 24th minute of play. Medárd Horváth scored 0-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fulgencio Eyague, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Peter Schmeichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peep Pronk in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peep Pronk in the 33rd minute of play forced GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute of the match GoooooooooooooooooooooooL got a corner. AC LeX Luthor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hortêncio Coutinho ran over to the corner to take the kick. Peter Schmeichel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peep Pronk in the 38th minute. The supporters of AC LeX Luthor booed when GoooooooooooooooooooooooL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calistrat Ailincai didn't get a good kick on the ball. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Peter Schmeichel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save GoooooooooooooooooooooooL from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Medárd Horváth to strike the kick off in the second half. Fulgencio Eyague showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Medárd Horváth in the 53rd minute of the match. Peep Pronk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Peter Schmeichel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague got control of the ball when Narcis Răcănel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fulgencio Eyague came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Medárd Horváth. But to his dismay, Medárd Horváth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. AC LeX Luthor made a substitution. Zeledon Savion replaced Pedro Lucas. AC LeX Luthor's Alvaro Errando was substituted for Peep Pronk. Peter Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Savion in the 74th minute of play. Peter Schmeichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Savion in the 77th minute of the match. Peter Schmeichel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Yepes, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 85 minutes into the game, Alvaro Errando cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Peter Schmeichel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fulgencio Eyague made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Marko Ruskov sent off a good shot on target.
