Todd Gronow might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jarmo Joensuu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Todd Gronow ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 4th minute, Ildefonso Foro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jarmo Joensuu, passed just outside the right post. Todd Gronow's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jarmo Joensuu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. After 7 minutes FC Kuusankoski's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fausto Agüero who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Fausto Agüero got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jarmo Joensuu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, FC Kuusankoski's Jarmo Joensuu got control of the ball when Todd Gronow tried to sneak it across the goal line. Todd Gronow's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Jarmo Joensuu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With his leg Jarmo Joensuu managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Todd Gronow fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Veikka Karhu kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Todd Gronow's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jarmo Joensuu firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Todd Gronow in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jarmo Joensuu saved FC Kuusankoski from getting behind. Todd Gronow struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Jarmo Joensuu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC. In the 22nd minute, one of FC Kuusankoski:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Kuusankoski. Zula Turek placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Todd Gronow suffered a sprained foot after 27 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Urpo Kangasalusta charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urpo Kangasalusta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC made a substitution. Andreas Harlén replaced Todd Gronow. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Kuusankoski! Abelardo Janpier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Veikka Karhu, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute Jaakko Kulonen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Janpier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Andreas Harlén kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jarmo Joensuu. That made the score 1-0 in the 37 minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Enzo Cope cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jarmo Joensuu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andreas Harléns short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Jarmo Joensuu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Raino Heinola made in the 45th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Veikka Karhu however managed to control. Jarmo Joensuu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andreas Harlén in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaakko Kulonen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jarmo Joensuu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Harlén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raino Heinola made in the 52nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jaakko Kulonen immediately put the ball in play. When Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Enzo Cope in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Kuusankoski's goalie prevented a goal. 57 minutes into the game, Raino Heinola threw the ball into play from the sideline. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Ruben Eate quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After having played for 58 minutes, Fausto Agüero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Agüero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andreas Harlén in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jarmo Joensuu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jarmo Joensuu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Harlén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 67 minutes, Andreas Harlén managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andreas Harlén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Andreas Harlén fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's protests and gave Andreas Harlén a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 played minutes Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Harlén. Jarmo Joensuu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Harlén in the 74th minute of play. Raino Heinola hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. When Andreas Harlén came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andreas Harlén couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute Andreas Harlén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarmo Joensuu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Veikka Karhu kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, FC Kuusankoski's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Harlén came free, but Jarmo Joensuu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jarmo Joensuu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andreas Harlén's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. After 85 minutes of play, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Andreas Harlén made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jarmo Joensuu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Andreas Harlén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Andreas Harlén in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Kuusankoski's goalie prevented a goal. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Andreas Harlén got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Raino Heinola in the 94th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Ruben Eate.
