Ghost Hunters's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Romeo Sanduru ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ghost Hunters's goalie and right to Adolfo Jorrin. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ghost Hunters's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When CACYFA's Adrian Czornomaz in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ghost Hunters's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Czornomaz in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jósef Wandzik saved Ghost Hunters from getting behind. In the 9th minute CACYFA were awarded a corner. Romeo Sanduru went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led CACYFA's Romeo Sanduru to fire away a dangerous shot which Jósef Wandzik despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Luis Quirce was a little too slow when Doriva Sousa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. Luis Quirce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Doriva Sousa's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Sanduru in the 22nd minute of play forced Ghost Hunters's goalkeeper Jósef Wandzik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doriva Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Quirce having to interfere. A collision led to CACYFA getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Emil Tomasson hit a great ball. Luis Quirce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Doriva Sousa's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Doriva Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ghost Hunters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doriva Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. CACYFA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Doriva Sousa scored to the left of an out of position Luis Quirce, making the score, 2-0. In the 34th minute Doriva Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Quirce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Oskar Rocheleau might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luis Quirce. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Oskar Rocheleau ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Ghost Hunters booed when CACYFA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Tomasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrian Czornomaz made a kick off. Luis Quirce came out of the goal in the 50th minute to try and stop a shot by Ghost Hunters's Sven-Oskar Rocheleau. But to his dismay, Sven-Oskar Rocheleau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Adolfo Jorrins short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Jósef Wandzik to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doriva Sousa in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis Quirce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luis Quirce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doriva Sousa in the 58th minute of play. Safet Jovanović could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Jósef Wandzik made a huge save. 62 minutes into the match, Ghost Hunters's goalkeeper Jósef Wandzik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Safet Jovanović. In the 63rd match minute, Ghost Hunters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doriva Sousa to maneuver through the defense. Luis Quirce came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Ghost Hunters's Doriva Sousa. But to his dismay, Doriva Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Doriva Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. CACYFA's Luis Quirce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doriva Sousa in the 84th minute of play. Doriva Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Luis Quirce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doriva Sousa might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luis Quirce. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Doriva Sousa ran back to his position shaking his head. 96 minutes into the match, CACYFA's goal looked a bit too open when Doriva Sousa came free, but Luis Quirce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the CACYFA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ghost Hunters.
