Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Kraig Fred started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Kraig Fred managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estudiantes de América's supporters rose to their feet, but Kraig Fred was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rigoberto Nazario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th minute Kraig Fred shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Nazario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Kraig Fred notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Argentinos Juniors's Rigoberto Nazario. Rigoberto Nazario was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rigoberto Nazario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kraig Fred, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rigoberto Nazario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kraig Fred, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute Sven de Zwaan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Ranolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kraig Fred in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rigoberto Nazario prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kraig Fred received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rigoberto Nazario came out and tried to block the shot, but Kraig Fred slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 20th minute. Kraig Fred was extremely unlucky when he, in the 27th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kraig Fred in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rigoberto Nazario saved Argentinos Juniors from getting behind. Kraig Fred took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rigoberto Nazario. Rigoberto Nazario dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Gonzales in the 37th minute of play forced Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Ranolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Falch in the 41st minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Kraig Fred scored 4-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rigoberto Nazario, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 61 minutes into the match, Argentinos Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Beltza came free, but Rigoberto Nazario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Concetto Trasatti in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rigoberto Nazario saved Argentinos Juniors from getting behind. In the 79th minute Concetto Trasatti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Nazario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute Diego Gonzales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Ranolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Estudiantes de América booed when Argentinos Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Enekoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Concetto Trasatti in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Concetto Trasatti scored 7-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rigoberto Nazario, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes de América's Diego Simeone got a free kick in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Estudiantes de América fans cheered their team off the field, for while Argentinos Juniors had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
