The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Ban Faek got a freekick which was hit by Nopporn Jinawong. Sommit Sinarurad made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Ronaldo do Vale sent off a good shot on target. Khwanchai Bunying kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elar Hallast in the 10th minute of play forced Ban Faek's goalkeeper Sommit Sinarurad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sommit Sinarurad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Jacareipe getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Clemente de Moraes hit a great ball. Justo Enmanuel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sommit Sinarurad having to make a save. Sommit Sinarurad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justo Enmanuel in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Clemente de Moraes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sommit Sinarurad. The goal made the score 2-0. Aki Nao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Etoo in the 39th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samuel Etoo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Ban Faek defense, Clemente de Moraes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sommit Sinarurad. The Ban Faek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sommit Sinarurad should have stopped the shot. In the 60th minute Samuel Etoo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aki Nao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65th play minutes Justo Enmanuel shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Sommit Sinarurad and just under the crossbar into goal. 68 minutes into the match, Ban Faek's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente de Moraes came free, but Sommit Sinarurad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sommit Sinarurad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justo Enmanuel in the 69th minute of the match. After having played for 70 minutes, Khwanchai Bunying managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ban Faek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Khwanchai Bunying was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sommit Sinarurad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute Vitin Corzana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sommit Sinarurad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sommit Sinarurad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Enmanuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Thamthada Lukyim's late challenge caught a Jacareipe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clemente de Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sommit Sinarurad having to interfere. Sommit Sinarurad came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Jacareipe's Justo Enmanuel. But to his dismay, Justo Enmanuel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Jacareipe's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
