If Ola Håkansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute, Ahmet Bülent Tugay made a precise shot to the right of Mats Holmgren. Woopbongo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, Sikilaçi's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Håkansson came free, but Emil Malewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sikilaçi's Dilaver İlmen got a free kick in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Sikilaçi getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Vicente Rodríguez hit a great ball. André Törnqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Törnqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Woopbongo's André Törnqvist got a free kick in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dilaver İlmen in the 48th minute of play forced Woopbongo's goalkeeper Mats Holmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dilaver İlmen was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Woopbongo booed when Sikilaçi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aziz Usare didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Sikilaçi's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Håkansson came free, but Emil Malewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dilaver İlmen kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Ola Håkansson struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Emil Malewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Woopbongo. Alp Arslan's late challenge caught a Woopbongo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
