Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dráuzio Pontes started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute, Cássio Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastián Sosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráuzio Pontes in the 9th minute of play. Cássio Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Arne Grabner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15thth minute of the game Dráuzio Pontes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vikingos FC's Sebastián Sosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arne Grabner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Cantona in the 19th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Cantona in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arne Grabner saved Falconara Albanese from getting behind. When Vikingos FC's Marco Cantona in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Falconara Albanese's goalie prevented a goal. When Marco Cantona came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Vikingos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Cantona couldn't finish the play. Sebastián Sosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio Pontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute of the match Falconara Albanese got a corner. Vikingos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Esteve Garin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Esteve Garin made a great header on Falconara Albanese's corner, it was just that Vikingos FC's Sebastián Sosa managed to reach the ball for a save. Arne Grabner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Cantona in the 29th minute. Dráuzio Pontes might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastián Sosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dráuzio Pontes ran back to his position shaking his head. 38 minutes into the match, Vikingos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dráuzio Pontes came free, but Sebastián Sosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Kenan Bozdoğan hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Arne Grabner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Cantona in the 55th minute of play. The throw-in from Eusebio Quintan in the 56th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Vikingos FC's Cássio Lopes. Falconara Albanese were furious when Grzegorz Soszka was red carded, 73 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Falconara Albanese made a substitution. Honorio Firman replaced Anier Omero. Falconara Albanese's Kaarlo Menem was substituted for Esteve Garin. Falconara Albanese made a substitution. Martin Goren replaced Dráuzio Pontes. Vikingos FC made a substitution. Ladislao Erramu replaced Marco Cantona. 73 minutes into the game, one of Falconara Albanese:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
